Inform Connection and the Moorabbin Squash Centre are once again running the Moorabbin Open in October this year. We have a fantastic program lined up and the features for this year are listed below. Entry forms are now available on this web site and you can also enter online with credit card payment.

SPECIAL FEATURES
To ensure that you enjoy yourself,  we have organised the following for you:
  • The Great Aussie Challenge is our theme for the year and we will be running various challenges throughout the weekend including a Thong Throwing contest so get that throwing arm warmed up!

PLAYERS
We anticipate attracting a solid field of graded players, with some elite action in the Men's and Women's Open divisions. The Open's have been registered as WISPA and PSA Challenger events so that local players can benefit from the international points available. We also expect the event to sell out, so please ensure that if you are wanting to play, ensure you enter early (that does not mean the day before entries close!)
SCORING - MEN'S AND WOMEN'S OPEN EVENTS ONLY
For the first time ever, we will be running both the Men's and Women's Open Scoring as  PAR to 11. This means that every winning shot scores a point and each game goes to 11 points. If scores are even at 10 all, players play until one gets two points ahead. Men should be used to this scoring format, but the Women's format has only recently been changed by WISPA and will be experienced by many players for the first time here at the Moorabbin Open. May I suggest that you practice this as it is very different!!
MERCHANDISE
Special event shirts are being offered to players and these are really top quality, sports polo shirts. They are made from lightweight Kooldri Fabric that dries extremely quickly and is cool to wear. It will have event specific printing on it and the style of the shirts is as pictured. Orders for shirts must be received no later than October 3rd to allow time for manufacturing. Shirts may not be available on site during the event for purchase so we highly recommend you pre-purchasing yours when you enter. 

If you do not like your shirt when you see it,

ACCOMMODATION
Dingley International Motor Inn

The Dingley is a top quality hotel about 10 minutes drive from the squash centre, which has spacious rooms, a bistro and a pool - as well as gaming facilities if you are that way inclined! The Dingley has supported the Moorabbin Open for the past 10 years and we would appreciate you considering staying with them to reward their support of the Moorabbin Open. HOUSE KEEPING
To allow us to run a professional and efficient event, we do not accept payments on the day, and all entries must be pre-paid either by cheque, money order, credit card or direct deposit.

Download the entry form or call us on 0407 364 050 and we will post one to you! You can also enter on this web site by going into the Inform Shop. Closing dates are October 3 for Polo Shirt orders and October 10th for entries,  so get planning and join us for what is sure to be an excellent weekend of squash.
