| The 14th Moorabbin Open attracted players from all over Australia including a great number of players from the Moorabbin Squash Club. The weekend got off to a great start with several rounds of matches being played on Friday night and this placed us in a great position to run on time all weekend. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Men's D Grade proved to be a most entertaining final between Peter and Floyd going to the wire in the 5th game. The Women's Open between Sarah Fitz-Gerald and Sarah Cardwell was good to watch with Sarah Fitz-Gerald winning the title. This match was followed by the Men's Open Final was hotly contested between Steve Robinson and Rex Hedrick and tested the Referee's composure!
